Best of Lincoln 2013
The KFOR Best of Lincoln has always been “the people’s choice” award since its inception in 1985. Again this year, KFOR utilized Spartan Polling, an internet-focused consumer opinion market research firm, to conduct the survey. During the month of June the city of Lincoln spoke and once again Gateway Senior Living was voted one of the top three senior care centers in Lincoln.
CMS 5 Star Rating
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rank every licensed nursing facility on their performance after a three-year review of health inspections, staffing levels, and the overall quality of the facility on 10 different measures. Based on this information, each facility is ranked from one star (the lowest) to five stars (the highest). As a five star facility, Gateway Senior Living joins only 10% of all skilled nursing facilities in this honor of achieving the highest rating possible. We are proud of the care and service we provide and appreciate this recognition from the Federal Government.

National Research Corporation Excellence in Action Award
Every year the National Research Corporation gives out an award that recognizes excellence in skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities. The award was determined by achieving overall customer or workforce satisfaction levels that fall within the top 10% in terms of percentage of respondents rating the provider as “excellent.” According to Amy Fish, Administrator at Gateway Senior Living, “This award shows that if you’re committed to providing excellent care and an excellent working environment that people do notice. We didn’t achieve this overnight, it’s the result of a day-in, day-out commitment to ensuring that we treat everyone, residents and staff, with dignity and care.”
